About the Lab

A lab built on
rigor and purpose.

The Traumatic Stress and Health Research Lab is housed within the Duke University Department of Psychology & Neuroscience. Our work is driven by a single conviction: that understanding trauma at a deeper level is the most reliable path to helping those affected by it.

We collaborate with veterans affairs hospitals, military institutions, and community organizations across the region — bringing together scientists, clinicians, and service members in the pursuit of meaningful outcomes.
